About Us
OnStage Performing Arts Productions Inc. is a non- profit organization founded in 1996. We are dedicated to giving youth a high -quality performing arts experience at an affordable cost. Our work is rooted in community theater, bringing experiences by professional artists directly to our students. OnStage Performing Arts was built on a history of adapting classic children’s theater, world literature, (comma goes here) and (remove the comma) picture books. The company is acclaimed throughout the Philadelphia area for their creative, original works. Today OnStage is recognized by the House of Representatives Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for its arts education and impact on young audiences.

About the Director
Graduating from the University of the Arts, Denise Wortham has taught and directed theatrical productions for children and teens throughout the Delaware Valley for 30 years. Onstage Production Inc. was founded during the summer of 1996 as a result of a pilot program through the Yeadon Library. Since that time, they have become a 501 c 3 non-profit organization offering year -round performing arts workshops in Yeadon and the Philadelphia region. We prioritize working with communities with fewer arts education resources available to them. Our goal is for student from various cultures to come together to work for a common goal: to learn respect for each other, self-reliance, and develop a love for the Arts. In 2019 Denise Wortham was honored with a citation from the House of Representatives for her impact in the community through teaching and mentoring.
